THE INSPECTION SERVICES BODY (ISB) IS AN INDEPENDENT STANDARDS COMPLIANCE INSPECTION BODY, TO VERIFY THE COMPLIANCE OF ETI FIRE SYSTEMS PRODUCTS, TO AS5062-2016 FIRE PROTECTION OF MOBILE AND TRANSPORTABLE EQUIPMENT. ISB HAS BEEN FORMED ON THE ADVICE OF NATA AUSTRALIA IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE INDONESIAN STANDARDS AUTHORITY.
The Inspection Services Body(ISB) is located at the ETI factory at Magelang – Indonesia. It is independent of PT ETI Fire Systems and provides compliance assessment of ETI’s products to the required standards. PT ETI Fire Systems is audited by SAI GLOBAL to ISO 9001-2015.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS COMPLIANCE - ISB is certified as an independent inspection body to ISO17020 by the Standards Committee of Indonesia. Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN), certificate number LI-036-IDN. This is fully recognised by the National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA) under their Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (APLAC) and worldwide in most countries under similar recognition arrangements with the International Laboratory Acreditation Co-operation agreements (ILAC). The mission of ISB is to verify products and systems, presented for compliance evaluation. The scope of activity includes :
- Assessment of compliance of products and systems to claimed international standards.
- Assessment of compliance of products and systems to relevant customer contracts.
- Analytical and functional testing to establish “Fitness for purpose” to the stated objectives of standards and contracts.
- Independent verification of maintenance of Quality Assurance procedures.
AUSTRALIAN NATA RECOGNISED - INDEPENDENT ACCREDITATION – KAN use an independent team of experts to regularly audit ISB. This includes quality assurance procedures and listing assessments of fire systems and components. The ISB laboratory also provides ongoing inspections of product manufacture for quality compliance. Specialised equipment has also been sourced for ISB for assessment of parts and / or systems requiring listing assessment or quality assurance confirmation. The laboratory of a major international University also assists in providing metallurgical laboratory testing and other specialised laboratory support as part of the ISB controlled program.
